Being prepared can minimize the stress One thing I like to do is fire up my slow cooker and make big batches of soup broth. I've been known to panic when my freezer is out of chicken broth. Sure, you can buy the canned broth.//or even the dried powder. It's more convenient, but it doesn't compare to homemade. Canned broth is also loaded with salt and preservatives. So, today I'd like to share my slow cooker recipe for chicken broth. It's great for cold days, to add to spup recipes and (at the risk of repeating myself) when you're sick.
